Terms & Conditions Supplement – Right of Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation Policy for Tour Bookings (Services)

According to Article 16(l) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts concerning the provision of services related to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. Therefore, tour bookings for specific dates are non-refundable by law.

However, Hot Rod Riderz grants customers a voluntary, contractual cancellation right under the following terms:

  • Free Cancellation: Bookings for tours can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the tour without stating any reasons and free of charge.

  • Form Requirements: Notice of cancellation must be submitted in text form (e.g., via email) and must reach us at least 24 hours prior to the official tour start.

  • Late Cancellation & No-Show: If a cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, or if the participant fails to appear at the designated starting point (No-Show), the right to a refund or rescheduling expires. The full booking fee remains due.

2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal for Merchandise (Product Purchases)

For the purchase of physical goods (e.g., apparel, accessories, merchandise) via our online store, consumers residing within the European Union have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

Right of Withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([Insert: Hot Rod Riderz, Your Business Address, Phone Number, Email Address]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You may also use the mandatory interactive withdrawal button provided on our website.

Effects of Withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

  • Return of Goods: You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us.

  • Return Costs: You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

  • Condition of Goods: The goods must be returned unused and in their original condition. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
